Amal Clooney

Amal Clooney was born Amal Ramzi Alamuddin, is an English-Lebanese barrister, human rights activist, philanthropist and human rights advocate. She has graduated from Oxford University School of Law and New York University School of Law. The length of her career has earned her international acclaim for her accomplishments in international law and the field in human rights. Her most notable clients include countries like Armenia that was battling for recognition of the Armenian Genocide in Turkey. Amal Clooney was engaged and was later was married with American star George Clooney, instantly making her a household names in the world of pop-culture. Prior to that, the actress was well-known for her ability to successfully represent her clients in courts and earned a good name. She has tackled human and civil rights issues as well as representing multi-national corporations in their court actions and negotiations over the regulations of government. From 2015 onwards, Doughty Street Chambers is located in London and she has been barrister.
